The American Mathematical Society recently hosted a series of interviews featuring mathematicians in industry. The first interviewee was Dr. Sumanth Swaminathan, the co-founder and CEO, Iterex Therapeutics who has worked closely with optimization and prediction models. The second mathematician interviewed is Dr. Stephanie Fitchett, a data scientist working in insurance and finance.
